Metal Engraving

Our corporate engraving department has been well equipt with a range of computerised CAD CAM engraving machines to engrave large volumes of precious and semi-precious metal giftware. This service offers you a fast and cost effective method of branding your product with company logos and marketing messages. Any artwork and font can be replicated, from simple child's handwriting to the most complex badges, logos and decorative motifs, either as an outline or by using infill-shading techniques for more dramatic results. We can supply you with samples of your engraved design on nickel plaques before proceeding.

For setting up/importing any new artwork there is a one off origination charge, we then charge per logo at very competitive rates. Artwork can also be created for you.

Artwork Requirements:

• Ideally black & white, outline or blackout.
• We can accept almost any kind of file such as; eps, ai, jpeg, gif, png and bmp but please ensure that the file does NOT exceed 3MB (3000 KB) when emailing. Should you have files larger that this, we would recommend you to send it to us on a CD-Rom. We can also scan artwork from hardcopies, i.e. bromide or high resolution print.
• If given as colour, greyscale or just poor quality, etc. we can still work from these but involves time spent redrawing which will increase cost. We can also generate artwork from colour or black & white photographs of any subject matter.
• We do not require the artwork to scale.

Leather Debossing

We have the facility to deboss small leather products, ideal for branding your products with logos. We can create dies to deboss with from artwork emailed to us, however we can only deboss your own company's products. There is also a minimum order of ten items.

Leather being an organic material can behave unpredictably, therefore some colours, thickness and textures deboss better than others. To explain little further, the tanning process involves the soaking of hides in alkaline chrome salts or vegetable based tanning agents to preserve them from decay. Vegetable based tanning agents allows for easier crafting and debossing. We cannot deboss surfaces backed with padding creating 'spongy' surfaces. We would recommend supplying a sample before beginning an order. The debossing can be produced with a gold or silver foil, the majority of work we undertake is 'blind' deboss (no foil used).

The dies are made from copper or zinc and once made they cannot be altered. Small lettering or details within logos may not always deboss well, we will advise.

Supplying Plaques

We can also supply plaques from polished or satin finished brass, nickel, silver or gold. These are ideal for trophy plinths, picture frames, presentation and gift boxes, or can be used as zip tags. It is an excellent way to personalise a gift without having to engrave the actual item. We can cut them to any shape or size and we use a strong self adhesive tape or pins to apply them. Discounts will apply for bulk orders. Turnaround time is 2-5 days depending on quanitities.
