Text Engraving

Almost all our trophies and awards are suitable for engraving, some of the information you should consider including would be club name & logo, competition/tournament name, winners name and date. We have over 1500 font styles available, the most common font groups are Block, Roman, Script & Old English. We will always do artwork for your approval before commencing with the engraving. Most trophy cups also allow for a separate plinth and plinth band that can be engraved. Plinths not only bring additional prestige to a trophy but also serve a practical purpose. They can be used to engrave and record subsequent winners’ names and dates, i.e.

Logo Engraving

We will engrave your company or club logos for free on any silver or silver-plated trophies if you buy 200 + items.

Logo Origination

There is a one-off origination (set-up) fee to cover the cost of converting a logo graphic into a format suitable for engraving. The fee is only paid once per logo. So if you are ordering more than one product with the same logo engraving or we need to resize a logo, you only pay the origination fee once. If ordering multiples of the same product, you only pay the origination fee once. If you are making a repeat or subsequent order using a logo that was originated for engraving on a previous order, you do not need to pay again.

Artwork Requirements:

• Ideally black & white, outline or blackout.
• We can accept almost any kind of file such as; eps, ai, jpeg, gif, png and bmp but please ensure that the file does not exceed 3MB (3000 KB) when emailing. Should you have files larger that this, we would recommend you to send it to us on a CD-Rom. We can also scan artwork from hardcopies, i.e. bromide or high resolution print.
• If given as colour, greyscale or just poor quality, etc. we can still work from these but involves time spent redrawing which will increase cost. We can also generate artwork from colour or black & white photographs of any subject matter.
• We do not require the artwork to scale.

Discounts

Discount will be given on all orders when the following values have been reached:

£150 – 5%, £250 – 7.5%, £500 – 10%, £1000+ – 15%

Payment

We accept the main credit and debit cards. We also accept cheques and BACS transfer. Orders paid by cheque will usually not be dispatched until the funds have been verified. If you are sending a cheque, please make it payable to R.H. Wilkins Engravers Ltd. In most cases goods will not be released until they are paid for in full. For non-account customers we will require a 50% deposit before we can proceed on any orders that require engraving.

Delivery

Normally 3 to 7 days, if you have any special requirements or require your items delivered for a specific date then please let us know. Most orders are completed within these timescales. However some orders, particularly those involving complex logo engraving or hand engraving may sometimes take longer. We will endeavour to keep you informed on the progress of your order. We use Royal Mail Special Delivery or TNT as our carriers.

Free delivery for orders over £200 (UK mainland only)
Cost £9.95 per delivery address in mainland UK. Monday to Friday only.
Overseas and non-mainland delivery is charged at cost.

Breakages/damaged goods

Breakages and damaged goods must be notified in writing or by email within 3 working days of delivery and you must send photographic evidence and include your R.H. Wilkins account number, and order reference.

Returning Orders

You may return an item complete, in perfect condition, unused and with the original packaging for a refund or credit within 21 days of receiving, however, where engraving has been applied directly onto an item, no refund will be available (unless an error on our behalf has been made). Delivery charges can only be refunded if the return is due to our error. After a return has been received, it will usually take 1-2 weeks to process. We suggest you use an insured carrier i.e. Royal Mail Special Delivery for your protection.
